Hey there! My name is Achilles Johnson. I'm the Executive Director of The Gunnison Project. I'm passionate about mental health, serving others, and securing a better future and equal opportunities for all. Following my passion, I've led in groups designed to mobilize students to create change. I served as a Peer Leader in Sources of Strength from 2016 to 2020. In early 2020, I started in the charge to replace a school curriculum that negatively impacted student mental health, an effort that was joined by a hundred other passionate students. I have also been a proud member of the Coalition of Colorado, a statewide organization that gathers young leaders to collaborate on topics at large. I've used my graphic design skills to give a platform to service organizations by developing things such as websites, stationary, and logos. My work is displayed by the Colorado Family Advocacy Workforce Organization, Gunnison Youth Wellness, the Coalition of Colorado, The Gunnison Project, Gunnison Valley Montors, and more. I'm excited to start addressing today's problems with tomorrow's solutions and create a better future for all who look towards it.
